don’t take my word for it.
Below are some of the incredibly nice things people (other than my wife) have said about working with me.
What the heck. This guy is amazing! He’s a creative director’s dream: He’s smart, efficient, an amazing partner to his design collaborators, and ALWAYS brings something…extra. He is a fountain of ideas — including the wild cards no one sees coming. Brett IS the out-of-the-box thinker who continues to push himself and everyone around him. He is awesome to work with I cannot imagine the past 6+ months of Best Buy Holiday without him. Or his crazy cocktails.
Brett is one of those unicorn copywriters who’s equal parts left and right brain. When a project calls for organization and detailed thinking, the left side calmly takes control and composes the proper language with aplomb. But when there’s an opportunity for creativity, the right springs into action, churning out everything from the simple and straightforward to the, “Oh shit, the client would never buy that but I LOVE it.”
He’s the kind of writer that inspires me to be better. The kind of coworker you can always depend on. We’re lucky to have him and I’m luckier to be able to work with him.
He’s also came in third place in a cookie contest once, which may be the highest praise of all.
Brett's creative bravery is of legend. He flies basically on the surface of the sun and isn't afraid to go there. He is woke AF and understands demographics better than most.
Brett is such an awesome person to work with, my favorite thing about him is that he is always willing to have a conversation and brainstorm about how to make something better. I love his commitment to thinking forward. He is consistently making suggestions on what we can offer the client to make the work better. Super professional, but boy, he’s also just a really great person to chat with and get to know!
I just wanted to say it was an honor to work with you once again. You’re a great writer and a great leader, always setting a good example for a writer like me who is still fairly new to the game. Thank you for that.
I just wanted to thank you for the guidance/mentoring as I got my sea legs in the early days of the WT gig. I appreciate your help and patience, as well as your expert mixological tutoring! Hope we get the change to work together again at some point.
